It's been a much quieter year for me filming porn. Mostly this is due to a much larger amount of non-porn related filming, which is great for paying the bills :) As of January, I will be working on an ongoing, weekly internet project so I doubt I will be having much more time in 2012 either :(
I had a really nice lunch meeting with Liam Cole from Treasure Island Media about 2 weeks ago in London, and we discussed all things filth. There is a possibility I will be shooting content for TIM, if I can find the right models. One of the things he said to me (amongst many things) was that getting the right models, with the right chemistry was paramount. Before the meeting I had sent him my video of Soccerboy (available to view at Barebackbastards here) and he gave me some great positive feedback. I recognise the "faults" with the video, or at least what I would do differently next time. The thing is, that video, like all my videos to date, have been pretty on-the-fly, and unplanned. In the Soccerboy video, I didn't meet one of the tops until we were filming - I kinda wanted it that way as I knew this guy was a friend of Soccerboys, and so knew the chemistry would be natural. However, I think it is important to note, that no matter how "on-the-fly" and "amateur" the aesthetic of TIM, the models do need to have a certain X-Factor if the video is to be REALLY horny. I personally liked all the guys in the Soccerboy video, and Liam's feedback was mostly technical stuff. I asked him if he would have taken it if I had sent it to him, and he said "almost". lol.
It was interesting to talk with Liam about what turns him on, and what turns me on. We had clear differences, and many cross-overs. It seems that what some find horny, others find a total turn off - obvious ofcourse, but when you are making hot bb porn, you A) cannot rely on JUST nice bodies, and B) cannot rely on JUST BB sex. There has to be a fusion of good ideas, aesthetic, men, shooting style, chemistry...and ofcourse, a great cumshot. I do not know if any of my videos to date have been able to capture all of these in one. Personally I do not feel ALL of Liam's videos do either, but there is enough in most of them to make him one of the best bb pornographers out there at the moment.
So, for me, the focus will have to be on the performers. I cannot simply rely on the fact that guys want to be on camera fucking raw. That isn't enough and it wont make a scene good by itself. So, don't expect me to be producing my own content very rapidly in 2012. I hope to find more work as a cameraman for studios if I can, and develop some ideas for my own videos that I will try and sell to TIM. And, if they don't like them, then I can hopefully put them up on my Xtube.
Think Twice, Fuck Once
In other news, a good friend of mine recently contracted Hep-C at a sex club. He is the 2nd person I know to have caught this horrible disease. Both guys caught it from being fucked raw in a group situation. There has been an alarming rise in Hep-C, especially in gay HIV+ men recently(even though the 2 guys I know are HIV-). Why should this be? Well I guess it is partly the rise in BB sex in general amongst gay men, perhaps a rise in drug use, and also I believe a rise in BB group sex. Whereas it was once considered a very hard thing to catch sexually, if you are bottoming at a sex party and tops are going from bottom to bottom, there is a good chance that a HEP-C bottom will infect another bottom because any blood that is inside that bottom's arse will be carried by the top and put inside the arse of another bottom. (to my American readers, arse = ass 8-)) This is what happened to one of the guys I know, and assume it is what happened to the other guy recently as he wasn't getting fisted or taking drugs; just simply being fucked raw in a sex club.
Now, I like group sex as much as the next person. But it is something I think we all need to be aware and conscious of. One of the guys I know who has it, sadly, isn't taking medication as he works freelance and knows that if the medication knocks/tires him out for over a year (which apparently it can), it will ruin his career. Plus there is only something like an 85% chance it will clear the virus anyway. If you are barebacking, sticking to one-on-one bareback sex may help to reduce the chances of Hep-C transmission, using gloves when fisting, and if you are one of those oh-so-horny gangbang bottoms, then try to be the only bottom at the party. It's never a good idea to allow the "insides" of someone elses arse to get up inside you!

1. Earn more money (I'm so skint right now it's ridiculous)
2. Film a scene for TIM that they accept and release
3. Film more homemade porn videos for my blog and Xtube
4. Contact more porn studios and charm them into hiring me for their shoots
5. Travel to the USA and meet some of those hot American guys whose profiles I've wanked over for soooo long!
6. Help my Occupier friends bring about the glorious revolution! ;)
